Chicago bluesman Toronzo Cannon hasn't quit his day job, depite a highly successful nightime gig.  Cannon tours the world playing his brand of Chicago blues while continuing to drive a bus for the Chicago Transit Authority!  Using every vacation day and day off and working four ten-hour shifts a week, he arranges his schedule to gig out of town as much as possible.

The National Reserve

One of our favorite discoveries this year has been Brooklyn's rock band, The National Reserve. Led by Sean Walsh, the band has made strides as a breakout Alt-country, rock outfit. 

We have them Live @ EXT on Friday, August 17 at 12n. Then see them live in person at The Hangar on a River Street in Troy on Saturday, August 18.

Zan & the Winter Folk

Zan & the Winter Folk were recently chosen as the Best Folk Band in the Local 518 (2018) by readers of The Alt.  There's a great space in Round Lake just waiting for you to come to see great live music.
